Aromatherapy
uses
essential oils from plants.
Essential oils are extracted from flowers, herbs, leaves, roots, bark and
rind and are said to contain the life force of the plant. Aromatherapy is
a natural treatment combining massage with pure essential oils to enhance
well-being, restore balance and treat a variety of conditions.
A selection of oils is chosen to meet specific needs and the oils are blended
to work on both the physical and emotional body.
What can Aromatherapy treat?
Aromatherapy can help:
Aches and pains; Headaches; Tension;
Digestive problems; Pre-menstrual tension
Fatigue; Stress and anxiety; Lethargy; Tiredness
or sluggishness.
Aromatherapy can also help harmonise
emotions and boost your general
immunity.
What
happens in an Aromatherapy
treatment?
Before your treatment begins your therapist will ask about your general health and any problems that you want to address. The aromatherapist will then choose and blend a selection of essential oils to suit your needs. You will be massaged on a special table. It will be necessary to undress to an appropriate degree. For maximum comfort and enjoyment, it is best not to eat or drink for 2 hours prior to the treatment.
After the treatment
You may feel tired or sleepy, and you may not feel like driving
immediately. We would be pleased to offer you a complimentary drink whilst
you relax and take it easy until you are ready to move.
Who
chooses Aromatherapy?
You don't have to be ill to benefit from
an aromatherapy treatment. An
aromatherapy will leave you feeling great whatever your condition.
