of Dr.Hauschka Skin Care
Dr Hauschka Skin Care is a holistic range of high quality products and treatments.
Inspired by Rudolf Steiner, the range was developed by Dr. Rudolf Hauschka,
a medical chemist and Elisabeth Sigmund, a cosmetologist and nurse who conducted
extensive research into healing plants. The Dr.Hauschka preparations are created
from a deep understanding of the skin.
Using
homeopathic principles,
the skin is encouraged to maintain or restore its natural balance. No synthetic
preservatives, artificial fragrances or colours are used; the preparations
are made from only the highest quality natural ingredients, including biodynamically
grown medicinal herbs and plants.
There is a deep understanding of the human being and this, combined with the
biodynamic production of plants and rhythmical processing methods, makes the
Dr.Hauschka Skin Care Range into pure, therapeutic and luxurious preparations
that work in harmony with our skin, allowing its natural beauty to unfold.

The Dr.Hauschka approach solves skin care problems rather than dealing with symptoms. Skin has an inherent wisdom in healing itself, and by applying Dr.Hauschka holistic skin care daily, harmony can be accomplished with ease.
Dr.Hauschka Skin Care also recognises the power of nature to heal, balance and regulate skin. To maintain harmony with nature the Dr.Hauschka approach is friendly to the environment. Animal testing is opposed and the holistic approach of biodynamic agriculture is advocated because it enlivens and harmonises the soil, healing the earth for generations to come.
Rhythmic Treatments
Relax and let your Aesthetician look after you. The treatment starts with a Sage foot bath during which you and your Aesthetician discuss your skin and skin care routine. Once your feet are dried, you move to the couch where your feet and legs are massaged, followed by gentle stretching and relaxation movements to your neck, head and arms. Your face and decollete are then cleansed with aromatic water, and after a facial steam bath, a cleansing mask is applied to deep cleanse your skin. Next, if you are still awake, feel the rythmical movements of the lymph stimulation and decollete massage. Day care is applied to complete this two hour journey.

Dr.Hauschka Rhythmic Treatments are a holistic approach to support the skin’s
inherent ability to regulate and heal itself, stimulating the lymph with rythmic
massage techniques that cleanse internally as the products cleanse externally.
Using only the Dr.Hauschka Skin Care products, the treatments are restoring,
harmonising experiences.
Each treatment starts with a Sage foot bath during which you and your Aesthetician discuss your skin care routine.

you on a holistic journey, building a lasting relationship which will help
you and your skin maintain a balanced, iridescent beauty.
What happens during a Dr Hauschka treatment?
When you visit for the first time you will be asked to fill in a confidential medical history form. You may then choose from the following available treatments:
Head Treatment
Specific movements,
unique to Dr. Hauschka, work together with Neem and Rosemary preparations
to relieve and clear the mind, and unlock tensions.
Gentle stretching of the arms and neck relax and prepare the whole body to
receive, followed by a wonderful, reviving Rosemary compress applied to the
neck, decollete and forehead. Using special, rhythmical movementsto the face,
neck and shoulders contributes to the overall sense of clarity and repose.
Body Treatment
The
Dr. Hauschka body treatment is deeply relaxing. It is a very gentle touch
treatment – delicate and subtle – working slowly around the body,
with massage movements unique to Dr. Hauschka that gently work the muscle
to release all tightness. The Body Massage is a powerful treatment that can
help aching muscles, poor circulation and sluggish lymph conditions.
You leave feeling lighter, freer and refreshed.
Foot Treatment
The
Dr. Hauschka Foot Treatment is beneficial for us all, but is especially helpful
during pregancy for swollen, puffy ankles and tired aching feet. Whilst experiencing
and enjoying the warmth and aroma of the Sage foot bath, energy is drawn from
your head to your feet and the body begins to calm itself. Gentle stretching
and relaxation movements to the head, neck and arms are combined in preparation
for the unique leg and foot Dr. Hauschka lymphatic stimulation, using one
of eight specially blended Dr. Hauschka healing oils. Whilst a specific nourishing
pack is applied to meet the needs of the skin, time is taken to rest and recuperate.
Facial Firming Treatment
Reawakening
the lymphatic system through effective and unique techniques we work to actively
care for the skin, to soften and slow down natural signs of ageing. Strengthening
our skin is crucial, and for this treatment a specific Rhythmic Conditioner
is applied in combination with a treatment mask to feed and rejuvinate the
skin. This also offers strength and support for the elasticity of the skin.
For the best results a 7 week Treatment Programme, together with a specific
Homecare Prescription as advised by your Aesthetician, is recommended.
Facial Gymnastics Programme
Skin
tone and a balanced facial form can be achieved naturally only through conscious
and deliberate training of the facial muscles.
Dr. Hauschka Facial Gymnastics will teach you the exercises relevant to your
skin’s needs. After a thorough consultation your Esthetitian will plan
the appropriate facial exercise programme for you.
Hand Treatment
The
Dr. Hauschka Hand Treatment is beneficial for us all, but is especially helpful
for aching joints, dry hands and dry, flaky nails. Whilst experiencing and
enjoying the warmth and aroma of the Sage arm bath, the body begins to calm
itself. Then, gentle stretching and relaxation movements to the head, neck
and arms are combined in preparation for the unique arm and hand Dr. Hauschka
lymphatic stimulation, using one of the specially blended Dr. Hauschka healing
oils. Whilst a specific nourishing pack is applied to meet the needs of the
skin, time is taken to rest and recuperate.
