What are Bach Flower Remedies?

In the 1920's and 30's Dr Edward Bach, an English physician identified 38 flowering plants and trees, which when prepared according to a specific homeopathic process he developed, had a profound effect on the underlying psychological and emotional states that influence physical illness. These special preparations became known as the Bach Flower Remedies.

The flower remedies have a subtle effect, gently resolving underlying emotional stress by triggering mechanisms which serve to mobilise the body's own internal healing power.

What can Bach Flower Remedies be used for?

Bach flower remedies can be taken to overcome a temporary stress or emotional difficulty like moving house, taking exams, dealing with bad news, grieving and adjusting to new circumstances etc.

The remedies can also be used to help change deeply rooted psychological patterns or beliefs like low self esteem, depression, phobias, and anger etc.

Who can the Bach Flower Remedies help?

Everyone! Children and adults alike. There is no risk of overdose, no side effects and no incompatibility with other treatments.

What happens in a treatment?

The treatment takes up to 60 mins during which there is a consultation. The consultation involves choosing and discussing the right remedies. By the end of the session you will have a remedy specially blended for your individual needs. The remedy comes in liquid form to be taken orally over a period of time.
